She holds a Master’s in Textile Design from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design from Symbiosis Institute of Design Pune. With over six years in the fashion and craft industry, including a notable tenure in the costume sector, Pooja has a proven track record in reviving traditional Indian crafts and making them adaptable to modern market demands. She is empaneled with the Handicraft Development Commission under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, as a designer and innovator. Her vision for Tamarind emphasizes sustainability and zero waste, creating a unique blend of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary fashion trends that defines the brand’s ethos.
